The Bach Aria Soloists is the dynamic chamber ensemble dedicated to bringing the genius of Johann Sebastian Bach, his contemporaries, and the composers of today whom he inspired, to new life through their critically acclaimed Community Concert series, signature Hauskonzerts and BachReach education. BAS is comprised of harpsichord-organ-piano, violin, soprano, and cello. Their ingenious collaborations with multi-genre arts partners have included living composer commissions, Tango masters, contemporary dance, jazz celebrities, actors, theater, and world-renowned Bach scholars incl. Dr. Christoph Wolff.

Elizabeth Suh Lane is BAS’ founder-Artistic Director-violinist. She is a former first violinist with the London Symphony Orchestra and has performed with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and Chamber Orchestra of Europe; Sarah Tannehill Anderson, the sought-after soprano is a Grammy-Award winner and was a former member of the Kansas City Chorale; Elisa Williams Bickers is Principal organist and Associate Director of Music of Village Presbyterian Church; Hannah Collins is Assistant Professor of Cello at KU's School of Music and Assistant Director of the Avaloch Farm Music Institute and member of the duo New Morse Code.

Bach Aria Soloists introduces their exciting, interactive BachReach education to students through numerous thematic programs including artistic collaborations with modern dance, Shakespearean actors, and storytellers. Elizabeth’s Orchestral and Chamber Music Clinics are in demand in high schools throughout metropolitan Kansas City. BachReach is live, creative, unique education offered in schools, senior centers, libraries, community centers, and venues that offer a fun, informative exploration of a wide spectrum of repertoire that students have never seen before!
