“Bummer the Drummer & The Kansas City Streetband” is a 6 to 10 piece Rock N Soul, Blues, and Jazz horn band. The band has toured for over 31 years playing concerts, festivals, fairs and venues all over the USA as well as for USO shows in the Caribbean. Along the way the band has shared billings with “The Little River Band”, “Jerry Jeff Walker” “Albert King”, “Chuck Berry”, “John Lee Hooker” and “Buddy Guy”, to name a few. Bummer the Drummer has recorded for Roulette Records, and RCA Records for Nilsson House Productions producers Harry Nilsson and Richard Perry. “Bummer the Drummer & The Kansas City Streetband” brings to the stage a very family friendly (suited to K-5 to adults), dynamic, interactive, and energetic show born out of the professional stage savvy of the established veterans that they are. Two performance presentation education workshops are available: “Musicmobile, A History of Soul Music“ and “Lessons In Rhythm In And Lessons In Life“. A free Study Guide, promo kit materials including additional descriptive information is available upon request. Free MP3 samples and compact disc purchases of two compact discs are available on the band website.
